An Easier Recovery® was founded by Catherine E. McGrath through her own personal challenges of fighting breast cancer as she endured surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and much more. She researched and created three products that helped make her battle a little easier and will make future breast cancer patients more comfortable. Through the help and talents of many family and friends especially Kathryn Maguire, Maureen Cardinal, Dorothy Cooper and Richard Trussell this company has come to fruition.
An Easier Recovery® has already caught the attention of doctors and executives at New England hospitals like Brigham and Womens Hospital, Beth Israel, Massachusetts General Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and Tufts New England Medical Center. Each product was patient-designed while going through each phase of treatment, surgery, chemo, radiation and recovery with many hours of waiting room time. Catherine made it her goal to develop products that help the next woman and future generations.
It is our goal to build a company that will continually ease the way through any phase of treatment, as well as to set aside funds for people who might not be able to afford the Jacki® or the Been There BagTM. To provide family, friends, and co-workers with a product line that will prove effective in aiding the one they care about in treatment.
